Choosing the best coffeemaker for you

Nobody can deny the awesome taste of filtered coffee. Although it is great to enjoy, filtered coffee requires a lot of time to make. If you drink coffee a lot, you will know how to make coffee using the filter. You have to put the crushed coffee-bean on the filter, then pour the hot water on the surface and wait for coffee to drop to your cup below. Although you will have the finest coffee, but you will have to wait for it to fill up your cup.
Knowing the demand of a good Coffeemaker which makes awesome coffee, many manufactures have produced variety kinds of coffeemakers to satisfy the need of customers. Although there are many coffeemakers in the market, choosing one for your need is not easy and if you don't know how to choose the proper one, you will waste a lot of money on some features which you will never use with your Coffeemaker.
Before buying any Coffeemaker for your demand, you should first determine about the money you are willing to pay for it. With a specific price range, you can tighten your list of coffeemakers to choose from certain ones in the price range. For instance, you should not buy the highest price coffeemaker in the market for weekly use in weekends. In this case, choose the normal one is enough. If you don't need coffeemaker right now, you can way to the sale season when you can have discounted price on these coffeemakers. You can also buy used ones to save money, too. Looking up on auction sites will give you many results to consider.
The next thing to consider about the coffeemaker that you are going to buy is that the size of it. You should buy based on your demand, should not buy the biggest one which only makes one cup of coffee a day. If you have a big family of many coffee drinkers, you can consider a bigger coffeemaker which can provide enough coffee for all of your family members. You also need to check your counter size whether if it is okay to put your coffeemaker on it, too. If you don't have big countertop, you can choose compact coffeemaker which does not require much space to put on.
The last thing to consider is all about the features. We all know that the basic use of coffeemaker is to make coffee, right? But, the manufactures never stop on making just a machine can make coffee. They will try to add more features inside their products in order to attract more attention which means more sales on their products. You will not need the LCD screen on your coffeemaker or an alarm clock on it. What do you need a LCD on your coffeemaker for? However, if you want to use it as a decorative item in your kitchen, go for it. If you want to buy it because "it looks cool", you should not buy it since the price for it is not cheap.

How to make a perfect cup of coffee?
I realize that 'perfect' is relative, but I wanted to know how others prepared their coffee. I have an 8-cup (6oz) coffeemaker, and presently I use 40g of grounds per pot. I started out at 20g per pot, or 2.5g per cup, and it was too weak. I used 26g per pot, or about 3.25g per cup, and it was pretty good. Going up to 30g per pot, or around 4g per cup, it was an odd, unpleasant taste At 40g per pot, or about 5g per cup, it's a good mix -- strong and dark with a bit of a bite, but not bitter. At 50g per pot, or about 6g per cup, it has an unpleasant strong flavor with bitter aftertaste. My Starbucks bag suggests 10g per 6oz cup, and I saw that referenced from some association, too. However, that seems to be too much in terms of grounds. Has anybody else found an exact measurement (ounces or grams) per 6 or 8 ounce cup that works best for them? I've been trying a lot, and while I'm fairly happy with the 40g per pot dosage, I'm open to trying something else out... It's just coffee seems weird -- it's too weak, then bitter, then acidic, but adding more grounds sometimes makes the too-strong taste go away. I ask because though 40g is good, I'm looking for something that might be *better*. I've run dozens of tests on different measures, but as I only make 1-2 pots per day, it's taking forever. I could just make cups, taste, dump them out and start over, but I don't want to waste the coffee or water.

The Dolce Gusto Single Serve Coffee Machine?
I would like to buy the Dolce Gusto Gourmet Single Serve coffeemaker, but I have never tasted the flavors so i don't know what i like. I don't want to buy a whole box of one only to discover that the flavor tastes terrible. Do you know if there is any way to buy a tester pack that comes with all (or at least a few) of the flavors. Thanks! (Also, if you own one, can you tell me if the coffee machine is even good?) thanks again! :)

Dolce Gusto or Tassimo...?
I can't decide between the Dolce Gusto Piccolo or the Tassimo coffeemaker. I like cappuccinos and lattes and stuff similar more than regular coffee, so which product would you recommend?
