Help me edit my paragraph? pleasee?
We had to make descriptive paragraphs in class, and i need someone to edit mine!:P best answer gets 10 points, does this deserve an a? also, how should i end it?!?! idk what to end with On December 24, the day before Christmas Eve. A lot of people were probably out partying, but I was at Harrison Hot Springs with my parents. It was a 2 hour ride there, we had to wake up early at 8 a.m, it wasn?t that early but during winter break it was early. It wasn?t that long of a car ride, but it felt like forever, even though i fell asleep half way there. When I opened my eyes, I saw the beautiful scenery. In front of our hotel was a big lake. The lake was a vast body of water in the midst of a land with the breathtaking color of the sky showing the blue and clear scenery in the basin like wonder. It made me want to go for a swim in the lake but it was winter time, I would?ve frozen to death! I?ve swum in it in the past Summer, it was like a refreshing dip in a cold pool. I looked to the left of the lake and saw the gorgeous snowy mountains, the mountains were covered in evergreen trees and snow, you could smell the trees from a mile away. Finally it was time to enter the hotel room. I swiped the card and opened the door, the first thing i smelt was heat, and evergreen trees. The walls were a simple beige color, on the left side of the room were two queen beds. The beds had white sheets, and at least 5 pillows on each bed. The pillows were colored a dark shade of red with gold detailing on them. I looked to the right side of the room and see a long dark brown table, it looked almost antique! On the table was a black coffee maker, two bottles of fresh spring water and a white telephone. In the front of the room was a balcony with one light brown wooden chair. When I stepped outside I could see the breath taking lake view. My dad called me with his deep voice and told me it was time to go swimming. Me and my parents all got changed to go to the pool. My bathing suit was a two piece bikini, it was all black with white polka dots all over it. My mom who has light brown hair, with blonde highlight and brown eyes and a heart shaped face wore her one piece dark pink bathing suit, it has a purple stripe on the side. My dad who is tall, bulky, with black short hair and brown eyes wore black swimming trunks. Neither of use wore any shoes. We made our way into the hallway , and the hallway stunk of wet dog. I could hear a dog barking from one of the rooms down the long, narrow hall. As we were walking I could feel the roughness of the carpet on my feet.
